Jobs & Internships

The Downtown Oregon City Association is a small collaborative work environment. Staff work closely with interns, our volunteer board of directors and committees to implement the programs we offer.

Employment Opportunities

DOCA’s team is comprised of five different staff positions.

  • Executive Director

  • Events and Placemaking Manager

  • Clean Team Associate (Part-Time)

  • Operations Manager

  • Elevator Guide & Visitor Services Associate (Part-Time)

Internship Opportunities

DOCA regularly hosts interns from local community colleges and universities. Typically internships are able to be customized to suit the student’s interests and schedules are flexible and are project based. At the end of a semester a student should have produced a deliverable that they can then use for college credit or to support job applications. Internships are unpaid. We are willing to work with student’s schools for college credit.

If you are interested in internship opportunities, please email Executive Director, Liz Hannum at or call 503-802-1638.

Other Volunteer Positions

DOCA relies on the support of volunteers. Volunteering for the association is as infrequent as helping to pour beer at an event to as long-term as a 3-year commitment to serve on our Board of Directors. Those that are able are encouraged to consider volunteering to support DOCA’s staff and administrative functions. Are you a qualified bookkeeper or like writing press releases and newsletters? We are happy to consider building a volunteer position for your interests.

To discuss volunteer positions, please contact Events and Placemaking Manager, Jana Daisy-Ensign at or call 503-802-1640 x 103.
